Custom statuses created by general admins can now be used also by vendors on their own suborders.
Additionally, as for every custom order you can also set a custom email and its recipients, you can add the vendor as a recipient as well.
Example: you want to create a custom Delivered status and create an email notification that informs both the customer and the vendor that the product has been delivered. Select the status and go to the Email Settings tab: here you can add both the customer and the vendor role in the recipient. The email will automatically be sent to the customer and to the vendor to whom the sold product belongs.

Thanks to the integration with YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce, you can allow to all vendor of your shop to access to the “frontend dashboard”. Instead of managing orders and products from WordPress dashboard, also the vendors can manage their shop from the frontend.
Just make sure both plugins are installed and activated.
By default all the WooCommerce sections are visible to vendors (with limited access to the vendors’ own products, orders etc), but you can further restrict their view and hide some of these sections from YITH > Frontend Manager > Sections:
In addition to the default WooCommerce sections, you can also enable “Vendor settings” section to allow users to manage all the settings related to their vendor profiles from the frontend.
This combination is also fully integrated with the following plugins:
YITH Order Tracking: your vendors will be able to edit the tracking code and carrier in the order details from the frontend.
YITH Auctions: your vendors will be able to create and edit an auction product from the frontend dashboard.
YITH Membership allows you to restrict access to the contents of your site (pages, posts, products, media) based on the membership plan the user is assigned.
The integration with YITH Multi Vendor consists of two parts, one related to what the admin can do (change the number of products that a vendor can publish based on the subscribed plan) and another part to what the vendors can do (create and manage their own membership plans). Let’s see more in detail below.
1. Admin – vendors plans with different number of products
With this integration, the admin will be able to create specific membership plans and edit for each of them the number of products that a vendor can upload on the marketplace.
In this way, you can have different plans with different prices that can be purchased based on the number of products they want to create and sell. By adding the “Become a vendor” page to the “Permissions” options of the membership plan, users who have purchased it will be able to register as vendors.
Just by way of example, you can have something like this:
Bronze plan: vendor can upload and sell only 10 products for €100
Silver plan: vendor can upload and sell only 20 products for €180
Golden plan: vendor can upload and sell only 50 products for €300
To control these settings, just open the membership plan details and scroll down until you find the Multi Vendor section:
Additionally, if you combine this with YITH Subscription plugin, the payment of a membership plan can become a recurring payment and so vendors will be required to pay every month/week/year to keep their products visible and purchasable in your marketplace.
2. Vendors – let vendors create their own membership plans
Every vendor in the shop will be able to arrange his/her own products in one or more membership plans: only subscribers will be able to access the membership-related content.
To enable this specific integration, make sure you select the option Membership products in the option Vendor can sell available in YITH > Multi Vendor > Vendors > Vendors permissions.
Once the membership add-on is enabled, each vendor will be able to see a Memberships menu with two tabs:
Plans: where they can create/view/edit/remove their own membership plans and include their products in it, and
Members: where they can see find all users who have access to one or more of their membership plans.
For more details about how to create and manage membership plans, please, refer to the official documentation of YITH Membership.
