Frontend Manager page

By activating the plugin, the “Frontend Manager” page will be automatically created on your site.

Only administrator and shop manager users are allowed to access the page and manage the shop from the frontend.

Frontend dashboard

Although set by default, you can select a different page of your site to allow accessing the frontend dashboard.
To do it, follow these two steps:

  1. Insert the shortcode [yith_woocommerce_frontend_manager]  in the new page

  2. Go to the plugin settings dashboard (YITH -> Frontend Manager) and select the page in the entry “Frontend Manager” page.

The plugin adds two entries to the WordPress topbar and My Account page allowing the administrator and shop manager to quickly access the frontend dashboard.

Enable/disable sections

By default, all WooCommerce sections show in the “frontend dashboard”.

However, you can choose to enable or disable every single section from the plugin settings dashboard.

If used in combination with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, the plugin allows choosing the sections to enable for vendors.

Access control

The access to the page used as “frontend dashboard” is limited to administrators and shop managers only.

In the event of unauthorized access, the system prevents the user from any action showing a notification message.

Prevent shop manager from accessing the backend

To prevent all “shop manager” users in your site from accessing the WordPress panel, you need to activate the entry “Prevent Shop Manager Backend Access” in the plugin settings dashboard.

You can remove the WordPress administration bar, usually shown in the backend on top of the page, by enabling the entry “WordPress admin bar” in the settings dashboard.

Skins

Choose the skin to use for your site “frontend dashboard”.

YITH Auctions for WooCommerce

YITH Auctions for WooCommerce allows you to sell the items in your store using an auction system. Each and every offer your users make are automatically processed until the auction is closed: the winner will receive an email inviting him to purchase the item; if they don’t, you have the option to keep the auction closed or open it again.

Thanks to the integration with YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce, you will be able to manage auction products from the frontend.

After installing and activating both plugins, auction products will be available among product types when adding a new product to your store.

Please note – When the two plugins are used also in combination with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendorvendors don’t have the possibility to reschedule their auctions and cannot see the Auction status meta box.

YITH Live Chat (deprecated)

Please, note that this plugin has been deprecated and is no longer purchasable. Support is provided to customers with a valid active license.

YITH Live Chat is a plugin that allows you to integrate a live chat system on your website.

The plugin can be perfectly integrated with YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce to allow managing chats in frontend manager dashboard.

After installing and activating both plugins, the Live Chat section will be added to those available in YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce.

Once enabled, you will be able to manage YITH Live Chat features from the frontend.

YITH WooCommerce Custom Order Status

With the use of YITH WooCommerce Custom Order Status, you can create custom statuses and assign them to the orders in your shop. You can also edit the default WooCommerce statuses.

The integration between these two plugins allows showing and managing the custom statuses created for your orders also on the Orders section of YITH Frontend Manager.

YITH WooCommerce Featured Audio and Video Content

YITH WooCommerce Featured Audio and Video Content is a plugin for WooCommerce that allows you to set video and audio contents in replacement of the provided image for single products in the shop.

Thanks to the integration with Frontend Manager, the shop manager will be able to add/remove videos on the products that you sell directly from the product edit page on the frontend. Videos can either be shown in place of the featured image or grouped together in a dedicated gallery below the featured image.

YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor

Thanks to the integration with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, you can extend access to the “frontend dashboard” to all the vendors of your shop.

Instead of managing orders and products from WordPress dashboard, also the vendors can manage their shop from the site frontend.

Just make sure both plugins are installed and activated.

By default all the WooCommerce sections are visible to vendors (with limited access to the vendors’ own products, orders etc), but you can further restrict their view and hide some of these sections from YITH > Frontend Manager > Sections:

In addition to the default WooCommerce sections, you can also enable “Vendor settings” section to allow users to manage all the settings related to their vendor profiles from the frontend.

This combination is also fully integrated with the following plugins:

  • YITH Order Tracking: your vendors will be able to edit the tracking code and carrier in the order details from the frontend.
  • YITH Auctions: your vendors will be able to create and edit an auction product from the frontend dashboard.
