By activating the plugin, the “Frontend Manager” page will be created on your site automatically.
Only administrator and shop manager users are allowed to access the page and manage the shop from the frontend.
Although set by default, you can select a different page of your site to allow accessing the frontend dashboard.
To do it, follow these two steps:
- Insert the shortcode [yith_woocommerce_frontend_manager] in the new page
- Go to the plugin settings dashboard (YITH Plugins -> Frontend Manager) and select the page in the entry “Frontend Manager” page.
The plugin adds two entries to WordPress topbar and My Account page allowing administrator and shop manager to access the frontend dashboard quickly.
By default, all WooCommerce sections show in the “frontend dashboard”.
However, you can choose to enable or disable each single section from the plugin settings dashboard.
If used in combination with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, the plugin allows choosing the sections to enable for vendors.
The access to the page used as “frontend dashboard” is limited to administrators and shop managers only.
In the event of unauthorized access, the system prevents the user from any action showing a notification message.
You can edit the message title and content from the plugin settings dashboard.
Prevent shop manager from accessing the backend
To prevent all “shop manager” users in your site from accessing the WordPress panel, you need to activate the entry “Prevent Shop Manager Backend Access” in the plugin settings dashboard.
WordPress admin bar
You can remove WordPress administration bar, usually shown in the backend on top of the page, by enabling the entry “WordPress admin bar” in the settings dashboard.
You can edit name and endpoint of each section from “Endpoints” in the plugin settings dashboard.
Choose the skin to use for your site “frontend dashboard”.
The dashboard is added as a new section of “My Account” page and adjusts to the style of the theme used.
Full-screen layout with style adjusted to the theme used.
Full-screen layout with elegant style unconnected with the one of the theme used.
YITH Auctions for WooCommerce allows you to sell the items in your store using an auction system. Each and every offer your users make are automatically processed until the auction is closed: the winner will receive an email inviting him to purchase the item; if they don’t, you have the option to keep the auction closed or open it again.
Thanks to the integration with YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce, you will be able to manage auction products from the frontend.
After installing and activating both plugins, auction products will be available among product types when adding a new product to your store.
Please note –
When the two plugins are used also in combination with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor
, vendors don’t have the possibility to reschedule their auctions and cannot see the Auction status meta box.
With the use of YITH WooCommerce Custom Order Status, you can create custom statuses and assign them to the orders in your shop. You can also edit the default WooCommerce statuses.
The integration between these two plugins allows showing and managing the custom statuses created for your orders also on the Orders section of YITH Frontend Manager.
For further details about YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce settings, please refer to the official documentation.
YITH WooCommerce Featured Audio and Video Content is a plugin for WooCommerce that allows you to set video and audio contents in replacement of the provided image for single products in the shop.
Thanks to the integration with Frontend Manager, the shop manager will be able to add/remove videos on the products that you sell directly from the product edit page on the frontend. Videos can either be shown in place of the featured image or grouped together in a dedicated gallery below the featured image.
Thanks to the integration with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, you can extend access to the “frontend dashboard” to all the vendors of your shop.
Instead of managing orders and products from WordPress dashboard, also the vendors can manage their shop from the site frontend.
The vendor shop stats in the dashboard will show:
- Net commissions of the current month
- Awaiting process orders
- On-hold orders
- Low stock level
- Products out of stock
- Unpaid commissions
From the plugin settings dashboard, you can select to which sections vendors can have access.
In addition to the default WooCommerce sections, you can also enable “Vendor settings” section to allow users to manage all the settings related to their vendor profiles.
This combination is also fully integrated with the following plugins:
- YITH Order Tracking: your vendors will be able to edit the tracking code and carrier in the order details from the frontend.
YITH WooCommerce Name Your Price allows your users to buy products of your shop at the price that they choose if that price matches your settings.
If combined with YITH Frontend Manager for WooCommerce, you will be able to edit Name Your Price options like “Suggested price” and “Minimum and Maximum price” at product level right on the frontend. To do it, you only need to install and activate both plugins.
