In every module, you will find the option Numeration starting from to set the starting ID for the order numbers of your shop.
The first order will be created with the defined ID, and the following orders will sequentially increase. Below is an example of the order numeration.
Orders previously placed will keep the standard WooCommerce numeration.
Note: for each new order, the ID value will increase progressively and so the “Numeration starting from” option will be updated with it. By the way, this value can be modified freely: the order numeration will start immediately from the new value.
Order prefix/Order suffix options let you use a prefix/suffix in the order IDs. Numeration will remain progressive, but each ID will have the indicated text before/after. Let’s assume to set “YITH-SX” as a prefix and “-YITH-DX” as a suffix: the ID will be like in the following image.
The available placeholders to use in the prefix or suffix are:
[D] Day without leading zeros [DD] Day with leading zeros [M] Month without leading zeros [MM] Month with leading zeros [YY] two-digit year [YYYY] Full year [h] 24-hour format of an hour without leading zeros [hh] 24-hour format of an hour with leading zeros [m] Minutes with leading zeros [s] Seconds, with leading zeros
If you want the orders at no cost to follow a different numeration, enable the “Free orders” module.
Through the option Set your free order type, you can set the conditions for the order to be considered “free” from the plugin and, therefore, follow the set numeration for the free orders. If you choose the Order Total option, all the orders with a final total amount equal to zero will be considered as “free”; for example, when the purchase is completed using a coupon with the same value of the amount. On the other hand, the Products in order option will consider “free” only those orders in which each product has no cost at all.
Thanks to YITH Request a Quotefor WooCommerce, you can offer users the possibility to ask for a quote for one or more products in your shop. Once the request is received, you can process your offer and send it via email. Users can accept the offer and be automatically redirected to the cart, where they will find the exact agreed price.
The integration with YITH Sequential Order Number allows you to enable a sequential number system for quote requests as well.
Once installed and activated both plugins, enable the Quote Module in YITH > Sequential Order Number > Modules.
You will be able now to set up the numeration for your quotes.
Numeration starting from: enter the number for the first quote here; the following ones will automatically be assigned.
Quote prefix: enter a prefix to make sure that you can immediately spot a quote request out of all orders of your shop. You can also make this dynamic using the placeholders listed below. Leave it empty if you don’t want any.

YITH WooCommerce Subscription allows you to generate recurring payments for the products of your shop and sell subscription-based products like video courses, monthly podcasts, and so on.
The integration with YITH Subscription allows you to create a separate sequential numeration for all the subscriptions generated in your store and customize it.
You can add a prefix and suffix for the numeration of subscriptions to identify them more easily.
The integration is automatically enabled as soon as you install the premium version of YITH Subscription (the minimum version required is 1.2.7 for YITH Sequential Order Number and 2.2 for YITH Subscription).
To customize your subscription ID numbers, go to YITH > Sequential Order Number > Modules > Subscription module:
