Why isn’t the VAT removed at the checkout?

It may depend on several reasons. Please, check the following conditions:

  • the country inserted by the user in the “Checkout” page has to be part of the EU
  • the products added to the cart must be only digital goods (virtual products)
  • if the cart includes physical products, please check the Apply to physical products entry in the plugin settings dashboard is enabled
  • the user’s country must differ from the one set as shop base location
