Please, note that surveys in this plugin have been conceived as one-question surveys, so each question is a new survey. In order to avoid confusion about terms, please, don’t forget that!
The premium version of YITH WooCommerce Surveys allows you to create surveys with no restrictions on the number of answers you can configure for each of them.
To create a new one-question survey, just click on “Add New Survey” that you can find in “Survey” entry in your WordPress menu.
First of all, you have to add the text to your question.
Before entering answers, just choose the page in which you want to show the survey on your site:
- Product detail page: if you leave “Choose product” field empty, the survey will show on every product.
- In any page in the site: this is the only case you can configure the survey in this section to have the possibility to add the survey using the shortcode or a widget.
To enter answers, click on “Add Survey Answer”. There is no restriction on the number of possible answers that you can add.
Let’s imagine we want to show the survey on each product page (before “Add to cart” button): the page will show more or less as follows.
Only registered users can answer the survey(s) and no more than once.
You can set answers to a survey as a required field only if they are shown on the checkout page. To do that, you just have to check the option “Required” during survey configuration.
If you set answer to the survey as required, users have to answer the survey before being able to complete the checkout and their order.
This feature is valid for all surveys except for those added to the Checkout page and allows you to hide them from those users who have already given an answer. To do that, you just have to enable the option “Hide survey only after one answer is given” that you can find in plugin options panel.
The plugin is ready to use with the new Gutenberg editor. When you add a new post or page, you will be able to find our YITH shortcodes and widgets. With a simple click they will be added to your page.
