In addition to the classic WooCommerce template, YITH WooCommerce Review Reminder offers 3 further different graphic, about which you can see a preview during the choice.

Template selection

Thanks to total compatibility with the premium version of YITH WooCommerce Email Templates you can select one of the templates configurated with the above-mentioned plugin. In case it is active, you only need to enable “Use YITH WooCommerce Email Templates” field and select, in YITH WooCommerce Email Templates settings, the template to combine to emails generated with YITH WooCommerce Review Reminder.

Mail content

Object and content of emails can be customized from dashboard. Depending on the type of message, it may contain HTML tags and placeholders. During the creation of the message, you can add the following parameters to get dynamically the corresponding information:

  • {customer_name}: the customer’s name
  • {customer_email}: the customer’s email
  • {site_title}: the title of the site
  • {order_id} : the order ID
  • {order_date}: the date and the time of the order
  • {order_date_completed}: the date in which the order is completed
  • {order_list} : the list of the purchased products that still have to be reviewed. This parameter must be added inside the email text in order to keep its meaning and functionality.
  • {days_ago}: the number of days passed between the purchase and the dispatching of the email.

Set destination

“Set destination” field of option dashboard allows to choose the page to redirect users after clicking the link for each product included in the email.

You can choose from the following options:

  • product page
  • tab “Reviews” of product page
  • customized anchor in product page

Google Analytics

Through plugin options concerning Google Analytics, the plugin allows you to track emails generated and sent to users to invite them to review the products in your shop.
Before inserting the requested parameters to create your “campaign”, ensure to specify the monitoring code of Google Analytics in your site. Only in this case the inserted parameters will be effective.

Mandrill settings

If you want to manage email sending with Mandrill, enable the option Enable Mandrill and enter the API Key you find in your account.

To use Mandrill it’s required to have a MailChimp account.

Actions on order

Despite the email sending system is automated, by accessing the edit order page you can intervene manually, performing one of the following actions using the dedicated buttons you find in the post box on top of the page.

  • sending emails to customers
  • schedule sending emails
  • delete the email in order for it to be removed from the next èlanned scheduling

These actions may also be performed massively, directly from the summary page. Select orders and choose the action you wish to perform from the drop down menu of “bulk actions” “bulk actions” in WordPress.
