Path/filename format

In the “General” tab you will find the general settings of the plugin. You can use these settings to set the directory where you want to save the generated exportation files.

general settings

  • Path format: this option lets you indicate a customized directory to save the files within wp-content -> uploads -> yith-quick-export.
The generated and exported files can be sorted automatically in folders using the {{year}}, {{month}} and {{day}} placeholders.

→ Example: if you want to have separate folders for each month of the year, you should use {{year}}/{{month}}.

On the contrary, if you don’t want to have a sub-folder arrangement, you just have to name the main folder in which you want to save all the files.

  • Filename format: the format of the name for each exported file. Use the following placeholders to build your customized format: {{year}}, {{month}}, {{day}}, {{hours}}, {{minutes}}, and {{seconds}}

→ Example: using “Export_{{year}}.{{month}}.{{day}}_{{hours}}.{{minutes}}.{{seconds}}”, the exportation of 26 May 2015 at 11:06:23 will create a file named: Export_2015.05.26_11.06.23.

  • Send documents to Dropbox: The plugin offers administrators the possibility to have an automatic backup on Dropbox for all the generated files. The backup is made immediately.

Syncronization with Dropbox

First of all, you have to access your account or create one.
Click on the “Login to Dropbox” button and you will see the access screen where you can add your details.

sign in dropbox

Next, you have to agree to save your information in your Dropbox.
The generated documents will be saved in the Apps folder of your Dropbox archive.
The saving process will follow the same guidelines as the PC one, about the management of the folders (as explained above for the Path Format and Filename Format options).

Access

Now you will see a code that you will have to insert in the input field of the “Enable Dropbox Backup” option, to complete the synchronization.
The code must be used within a minute from its generation, or it won’t give any result and you will need to generate it again.

send documents

With the correct validation of the code, you will see the Dropbox account to which the plugin is synchronized for the saving process of the invoices.

Below is an example of the Dropbox saving process:

Data exportation

The “Data exportation” tab lets you create one or more exportation tasks, in real-time or scheduled.

add new

Click on the “Add job” button to create a new scheduled job, where you will be able to set your exportation.

Create new

With the “Choose data to export” option, you can choose which kind of information you want to export in CSV format: Orders, Coupons, and/or registered Customers of the store that have made one or more purchases. With the option “Order status” you can decide which orders you want to export.

If the scheduled exportation from and to fields are not set, the option saving process will immediately generate a CSV file with all the selected registered information of your shop up until that moment.
If you want to immediately generate exportation of all the details, of a specific time range, fill out the From and To fields.

The plugin also offers you the possibility to schedule one or more exportation types. To do so, you will have to activate the “Scheduled exportation” option.

Scheduled exportation

  • Exportation job name: set the name of the exportation job.
  • Export on: date and time of the first exportation.
  • Recurrence: the exportation can either be recurring (daily, weekly, monthly) starting from the first operation (Export On), or a single one accomplished during the day of the “Export On” date.

The scheduling of different exportations can be useful, for example, if you want to generate different (separate) files for coupons, customers, or orders.

Schedule history

In the “Schedule history” tab you will find the list of all the exportation jobs you have scheduled up until that moment.

Schedule history

You can download or delete each exportation on the list by clicking on the designated button.

YITH Gift Cards

YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards allows you to export orders, customers and coupons into a CSV file.
The integration with YITH Gift Cards allows also exporting gift cards information into a .csv file.
To benefit from this integration, you simply have to install and activate the premium version of both plugins.
Then, go to YITH > Quick Export > Data Exportation tab and select the Gift Cards checkbox to export all your gift cards. If you want to, you can filter them by date and export only those generated in a certain time frame.
