For more details about how a customer can use a gift card, please, refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards\/free-version-guide\/how-users-can-manage-a-gift-card-2\/\">this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alert alert-info\">Gift card codes are created automatically after a user&#8217;s order has been completed and will be visible in the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards\/free-version-guide\/dashboard\/\">Dashboard<\/a>, where you can also edit existing gift cards or create new ones right from the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"physical\">Physical gift card product<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a physical gift card (non-virtual), just make sure that the <strong>Virtual<\/strong> box is not checked. The product setting options are the same as the virtual gift card options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, there are some differences: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>no \u201cemail\u201d field shown to the customer since the gift card will not be sent digitally, but you will arrange shipping it by post office regular mail;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the shipping options are therefore available too;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>no images can be displayed in this product type.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"732\" height=\"313\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/228\/2023\/05\/Physical-gift-card-product.jpg\" alt=\"Physical gift card product\" class=\"wp-image-1630\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/228\/2023\/05\/Physical-gift-card-product.jpg 732w, https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/228\/2023\/05\/Physical-gift-card-product-300x128.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, the system will associate a code to the gift card, after the order is completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert-info\"><strong>Important!<\/strong> If you have pre-printed cards, with pre-printed codes too, you will have to replace this code with the one that appears on your physical card.
