Translate through our easy-to-use platform!<\/h2>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf your language is not included in the plugin package, no worries, you can translate it on your own thanks to our platform.\r\n\t\t\tGo to translate.yithemes.com<\/b><\/a> and just follow three simple steps:\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\"\"<\/a>\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tOnce you\u2019re done with translating, you will be able to export your translation as a file that is ready to be uploaded\r\n\t\t\tinto the languages<\/b> folder of your plugin package and start using it immediately.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tDon\u2019t forget to change the language of your WordPress site from Settings > General > Language<\/b> to make sure the translation shows up.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\"\"<\/a>\t\t

Translate with Poedit<\/h2>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf you prefer translating using Poedit, a free translation editor software, you can consider this as an alternative option.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tThe original language file of the plugin is yith-woocommerce-eu-vat.pot<\/b> and\r\n\t\t\tit is included in the \"languages\"<\/b> folder of the plugin.\r\n\t\t\tIf it does not include your own language you have to translate following these steps.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tDownload Poedit<\/a>, the software\r\n\t\t\tthrough which you can translate the plugin text strings.\r\n\t\t\tNow open the file yith-woocommerce-eu-vat.pot<\/b> and click on the \"Create\r\n\t\t\t\tnew translation\"<\/b> button.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\"\"<\/a>\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tSelect the language in which you want to translate the plugin.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\"\"<\/a>\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tNow translate the strings one by one. Once finished, click on the \"Save\"<\/b> button and rename the\r\n\t\t\tfile adding the slug of the plugin to the suggested file name\r\n\t\t\t(e.g., yith-woocommerce-eu-vat-it_IT).\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf everything worked fine, the .po<\/b> and .mo<\/b> files will be created automatically in the\r\n\t\t\t\"languages\" folder of the plugin.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf you want to display your new language in an online installation, don't forget to load both files (.po\r\n\t\t\tand .mo) via FTP.\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t

Edit an existing translation<\/h2>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf you want to edit an existing translation, copy the .po file that you find in the plugin \"Languages\" file (plugin name > languages)<\/b>\r\n\t\t\tand paste it into WordPress languages folder (wp-content > languages > plugins)<\/b>.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tEdit the .po file and save the changes. This will generate the .mo file and you will be able to see your updated translation in your site.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\tIf you worked on the .po file outside of the plugin folder, make sure you copy and paste also the .mo file that has been generated automatically after saving the changes in the .po
