The closer the value is to 1, the less impact it has on the order\u2019s risk level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>maximum<\/strong> <strong>weight<\/strong> is 20. The closer the value is to 20, the more impact it has on the risk level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By default, the value is set to 10, which represents an <strong>average risk.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When a rule is triggered, it contributes its assigned weight to the risk score. In the example below, the weight score is 63.6% which is the sum of the weight of each rule that has been triggered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1724\" height=\"1128\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-632\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example.jpg 1724w, https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example-1024x670.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example-768x502.jpg 768w, https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-anti-fraud\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/361\/2025\/01\/20.fraud-risk-level-example-1536x1005.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1724px) 100vw, 1724px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is the risk calculated?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Risk is calculated as a percentage using this formula:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Risk Percentage = (Total score of failed rules \/ Maximum possible score) * 100<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Total score of failed rules<\/strong>: This is the sum of the weights for all rules that were triggered (failed).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum possible score<\/strong>: This is the default weight (10) multiplied by the number of rules enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Example:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s say you have 3 rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8220;First order check&#8221; with a weight of 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Suspicious email domain check&#8221; with a weight of 15<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Unsafe country check&#8221; with a weight of 20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>maximum possible score<\/strong> is 10 (default weight) * 3 (rules), which equals 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Case 1: All rules fail<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If all rules fail, the total score from the failed rules is 5 + 15 + 20 = 40 (sum of the weight of each rule).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, the formula would be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(40 \/ 30) * 100 = 133%.
