Why is that?\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>If the affiliate commission seems not to be the right one, it may be that there is a rule that is overriding the rate settings. So, make sure you check all the available settings. Consider that you can set up:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A global rate from the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-affiliates\/premium-version-settings\/general-options\/commissions-payments-options\/\">Commissions &amp; Payments<\/a> page<\/li>\n<li>product and user rules from the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-affiliates\/premium-version-settings\/affiliates-menu\/rates\/\">Rates tab<\/a><\/li>\n<li>a custom rate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-affiliates\/premium-version-settings\/affiliates-menu\/affiliates-profile\/\">affiliate&#8217;s profile<\/a><\/li>\n<li>categories and product exclusions from the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-affiliates\/premium-version-settings\/general-options\/general-options\/\">General options tab<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Please, refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.yithemes.com\/yith-woocommerce-affiliates\/premium-version-settings\/affiliates-menu\/rates\/\">this page<\/a> for more details about the rules and how their priority works.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\tOne of my affiliates shared the referral link, but no commissions were generated when the customer purchases, how can it be?\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When such an issue occurs, it depends on the cookies, and specifically, the first visit is stored in a cookie that for some reason changes when the user finalizes the purchase. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s see some examples of how the cookie info can change:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The user visits the site through one browser for the first time, where the cookie is stored, and then leaves. Then, he\/she visits<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the site through another browser and completes the purchase.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The user visits the referral link of affiliate A first and leaves, but after a couple of days, he\/she visits the site through the referral link of affiliate B and finalizes the purchase. The commission is credited to affiliate B instead of A.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The user is associated to the affiliate but the <strong>Prevent referral switch<\/strong> option is disabled. As in the previous case, the commission will go to affiliate B instead of A.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\tI have added the affiliate dashboard shortcode but the Coupons tab shows a &#8220;404 &#8211; Page not found&#8221; message. How can I fix that?\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Try regenerating permalinks. From your WordPress dashboard, go to <strong>Settings &gt; Permalinks<\/strong> and simply click on the <strong>Save changes<\/strong> button. This action will regenerate the permalinks of your site and should fix the issue.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\tWhat if I refund an order after the related affiliate commissions have been paid?\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>If the commissions have been marked as paid, they will not be changed, nor the affiliate balance will change.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\tOrder submitted but commission not generated yet, how can it be?\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>A commission is generated as soon as the related order status goes to &#8220;<strong>Pending payment<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Completed<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\r\n<p>This means that if for any reason the related order is not paid yet, for example is &#8220;on hold&#8221;, the commission does not appear in the Commissions list.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a
